Please note: There is NO PARKING near the race track, and strict access control will be in place. Please utilise Uber, the MyCiTi Bus Park & Ride facility, or park in the City Centre and take the Fan Walk.

Travel & Transport

There will be no parking close to the Stadium and racetrack. Help us alleviate additional pressure on traffic – and avoid travel frustration – by utilising one of these convenient options:

1. Fan Walk:  Park in the City Centre and take the Fan Walk to your entry gate.
2. Park & Ride with MyCiTi Bus: Take a MyCiTi bus from Cape Town Civic Centre from 7am. This is a free service for ticket holders.
   • A recommended mode of transport for Granger Bay Grandstand ticket holders, Fans who want to spend the day in the Allianz Fan Village on A-track, and Helen Suzman Grandstand ticket holders.
3. Uber: Book your Uber drive via the Uber app. Uber will have a dedicated drop-off point near the Stadium, across from Virgin Active (P15), from where you can walk to your entry gate. Select “Cape Town E-Prix” as your destination.
   • A recommended mode of transport for Vlei Road Grandstand ticket holders, as well as General Admission Fan Village ticket holders who will spend the day on the Shared Fields (Hamilton’s Rugby Field).
   • Beach Side Upgraded Grandstand & Hospitality ticket holders are advised to take an Uber to P15. If you are coming from the Atlantic Seaboard’s side, you can also opt to be dropped off at the Mouille Point light house and walk to the Beach Side Grandstands.  Note that there is only one ticket checkpoint into Beach Side.

Getting In

You will receive information regarding your particular entry gate, based on the location of your Grandstand seats. This will also inform the most convenient travel and transport options available to you.
